Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Jaselyn began performing in local Texas theatres, shopping malls, county fairs, and even a U.S. Air Force airplane hangar. After falling head over heels for music, dancing, performing and storytelling, she went on to receive her Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance from NYU and her MFA in Acting from Brown University/Trinity Repertory Company’s Masters program. Jaselyn is a proud member of Actor’s Equity and President of the Actor’s Equity Association Austin/San Antonio Liaison Committee.

Jaselyn is proud to have appeared in campaigns for TV, Print, and Online. She was the face of Affordable Art Fair #artcollectyourself campaign which appeared all over New York City and Holland featuring art by the incomparable Anna Church, shot by photographer Samuel Sachs Morgan, and styled by Hovey Design.
Along with her team at Blanchard Creative Group, Jaselyn is proud to be the Producer of the Joci Awards since 2017, in affiliation with Las Casas Foundation. The Joci Awards, a hybrid scholarship competition/show and the single largest scholarship source for the performing arts in the country, features 25 performers from all over South Texas who compete in the categories of singing, dancing, and acting, to win over $100,000 in prize money. As of 2019, they have awarded over 1 million dollars to deserving students.
Jaselyn, a Soprano, is proud to have received her Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance from New York University’s Steinhardt School of Education. A long-time student of one of the most acclaimed singing teachers and experts in Contemporary Commercial Music, Jeanie LoVetri, Jaselyn is also a Level 3 graduate of the LoVetri Institute for Somatic Voicework, a body-based method of vocal pedagogy that incorporates physical awareness, aural acuity, kinesthetic development and vocal freedom. It is supported by voice science, vocal hygiene and medical information. It promotes technical security, stylistic accuracy and personal satisfaction. It honors the wholeness of healthy vocal use and the individuality of every vocal artist. It was developed to address contemporary commercial music but encompasses all styles.
Jaselyn is proud to have narrated audiobooks for BBC Audiobooks (AudioGo) including the Teen and Young Adult classics: Locked in Time (Lois Duncan), Up a Road Slowly (Irene Hunt), and Gold Medal Summer (Donna Freitas). Dialects include: Standard British, Cockney, Texan, Southern, French.
Playwriting credits include cheers no tears: an Intimate Evening with Marilyn Monroe—her original play produced off-Broadway, in which she wrote and performed the title role of Marilyn. Jaselyn is also proud to be a Co-Host of THE TABLE, a place for artists to gather, a place to eat, a place to read, and a place to share.
